It's been a long time since I've gotten an inspiration from one though. This one is abit flawed though. Maybe cause of the long time since I've taken note of small stuff.

It's about

balancing life.

Ever tried standing on the bus the entire ride, not holding on to any railings, balancing yourself? I do that from time to time. Standing independent and anticipating any rough jerks seem to interest me.

To be able to stand well and balance well without support, knowing the challenges that will come along the way, is like learning to live life independently. You learn to stand on your own, fight on your own, grow stronger on your own. Leaning backwards putting more weight on your hind foot when the bus is stopping [due to inertia, force is forward, leaning backwards will balance the forward force :s], putting a foot in the opposite direction of the bus turning [to help give rise to a centripedal force so that you won't fly outwards]. Life, can be handled independently at most times. Learning how to handle it well yourself makes you stronger.

However, life is never quite predictable and peace-flowing. When the bus driver is having a bad mood, or simply isn't experience at all, you see your fair share of ups and downs, lots of jerks, crazy breaks and so on. It is difficult to handle this on your own. Don't forget your pillars of support, the poles and the handgrips. Friends are there to help, and lend your support when you're needed.

Other times, there's just too much load on you that you can't even stand properly. Share the burden, or let some down. Hold on to your supports now, or you will fall easily. Friends will always be there. But you need to be the one to hold on to them first.

Stay strong people, and I hope you guys like this new entry since a long long time =)

With hope, comes expectations.

Ever wondered why you've felt so disappointed over a series of things; why do things end up like that and so on?

With hope comes expectations. Well, into my brains. The "Right"s and the "Wrong"s. The Right being absolute and accepted, the Wrong being denied.

Some people depict the right and wrong as black and white. Contrastingly different. Then others mention that there are grey areas. To be truthful, it's not really a talent for analogies, it's recognising simple things happening that I manage to relate to life. So, these simple things become stuck in most analogies that I use.

I think I did heard of "Life is like crossing a road", but somehow, people never mention why. They say, the road's tough to cross and that sort of stuff. So I thought, why not give it a try today, after jaywalking across a road in order to catch a bus. I'll include the bus and the jaywalking in this post. Makes it more near reality. Sorry about the spoiler though. So, how about "Crossing the road in order to catch the bus". *Chuckles*

Buses are like targets in life, we always attempt to catch them. If it's gone, we have to wait for the next one. Just like being prepared in life. People who are prepared to set off earlier, can cross the road using the traffic light, and are just in time to catch the bus. People who are less prepared, will have to jaywalk across the street and try to catch the bus. Jaywalking, is like increasing productivity, you have to know how to do it. For example, effective mugging. Some people can finish studying their tests in 2 days, while you spend a week, and realised they score better than you. You ask, why? Experience counts, even for jaywalking, you got to know how to do it, or you'll just get stuck at the other end of the road. Theory ends when either you get prepared for it and take the safe way out by crossing the traffic light, or risk it by jaywalking. Of course the government encourages you to cross the road safely. Or you'll get fined, get killed by a speeding car. But well, some ask, what's life without risks? Especially when there are times you can never be prepared[e,g the bus is right in front of you across the road about the drive off], you got to learn to be skilled in jaywalking, or you'll just miss the bus. So what's wrong with jaywalking?

However, when people approach the topic "Love", the whole thing does a big change. Buses may have the same number, but you know it just isn't the same bus anymore. You cant afford to miss it. Be it jaywalking or safely crossing the streets, sometimes it's irritable, especially you don't know if the bus would be waiting for you. Some just drives off. Some waits and you get onto the bus of love. Some gets directly rejected from the bus for "bringing up food and drinks" therefore is not welcomed. While others, get screwed crossing half the road and still wondering if the bus would wait for them. But you will never know till the very end, when you board the bus or the bus drives off. It's worse, especially if you only just started crossing the road. What if you thought it'd stop, and just when you're about to reach it, it drives off? I hope that there's always a next bus to look forward to eh?

Interesting, yet sometimes hateful, but I guess that's life. Hope you guys like this entry.

Pseudo Order Reaction

Surprisingly while mugging for blocks, I got exceptionally weighed down by a particular topic of Chemistry that would be tested - Reaction Kinetics. Mainly because I missed quite a few lectures on it, and happened to realise that I do not know a lot about it. Flipping through the pages, I stumbled upon something relatively interesting, the Pseudo Order Reaction.
Pseudo Order Reaction
- If a particular reactant is present in large excess with respect to the other reactants, its concentration will not change significantly during the reaction and can be regarded as constant. The rate of reaction will appear to be independent of this reactant concentration and the reaction is pseudo zero order with respect to this reactant.
It is somehow interesting to note that our life is always affected by certain things. Certain things more than others. Which happens to make us stumble a lot when we get too tied up with some things in life. For eg. bgrs, family, friends, or even studies. It makes us fail to consider other things that is still part of life. Which is exactly what the pseudo order reaction states. If we allow too much of certain things to influence our lives, the others don't get the attention they need.

At first, my idea of solving it is to counter the Pseudo Order Reaction. Which means simply to take note of more things around you, giving them more place in your heart. It is somehow like what I used to do, to balance things up such that each doesn't affect me too much. But it is not easy, because some things do need to take up more proportion, like how some people takes up more space in your heart than others, undeniably.

Then to move further on, some people forever has something that is affecting them more than the others. Like how elements have differing electronegativities. For example I am a sodium[Na+] ion, to balance up the charges, I would need an electron, perhaps from a chloride[Cl-] ion. Which means that they would have to have that particular thing that affects them to stay, like perhaps Na likes Cl, which makes them form a compound, like how our parents are working hard because of the family, of which without the family, they might not be striving so much to earn their keep.

However, teenage life is simple. Like temporary dipoles. At any point of time we might be induced to a slight negative charge or positive charge, which may mean that, we are affected by different things at different point of time. Then the enlightenment would be that we cannot allow these things to influence us too much, because we still have other things that require us to do. We are young, thus do not have much commitment to certain things. As much as we may be affected by certain events of life, we still have to be sure we keep in mind of our other duties; studies, friends, family and everything we need to juggle.

idling thoughts

Assumptions

Why practical people cannot relate to physics

Question:
Two children in a 90kg boat are drifting southward with a constant speed of 1.5 m s-1. Each child has a mass of 50kg. What is the velocity of the boat immediately after one of the children falls of the read of the boat?

Politically correct answer:
Child who drops down into water continue in his state of motion, southwards of 1.5m s-1. There are a few ways of getting on with life happily depending on what you define "living life" as. Of course, it is much more of a relative view.

Per se, I would like to lead life interestingly. Then what you would probably do is to make yourself interested. It's as simple as that, in theory, yet not as simple.

All in all, you have to realise that it's not just a matter of others. Humans may be very very social creatures, however, it's only your own actions that affect yourself. Therefore, it would not be impossible to change yourself/ your attitude to probably make your life more interesting.

Yet again, from another perspective, life tends to be more interesting when you are yourself. [Of course you need to meet the basic etiquettes of what your society demands of you.] Judging from the American culture imperialism, where liberalism is the key, the [latter] can effectively be ignored.

After this whole few chapters, there will be a debate about Perspective. The reason is simple. Perspective [of others] affects how you live. Again, because humans are social creatures.

We have to understand that how people see you will not change. This is practical. "Seeing is believing". You cannot expect people to change their perspective to suit yours such that you would probably be better. "Putting yourself in one's shoes" does not apply. It hardly ever works.

But as said "Seeing is believing", it's what others view of you that is exactly what you show, therefore it has something to do with what you show than a mistake of what others view of you. Making sense?

Thus it is essential that we change our actions, to show who you really are, or what you want to show[being humans]. Then how people see you will change. You cannot be pointing at everyone out there and say "change your perspective" just because you feel that you are acceptable, blame the whole world for not understanding you. How do you expect people to change the way they see?

Amidst all these confusing and abstract way I have organised/disorganised my views, you ask, "Change yourself, but dont change yourself to lead a happy life?"

What needs to be changed and what does not?

Let's talk about human traits again. There is always an inner personality of yourself, and another personality[outer reiatsu?] you use to deal with other beings.

This particular outer reiatsu is the main culprit of a probable misunderstanding of what other beings have of you. It is a means of expression, which shows others how your inner reiatsu feels. That, is what others see, known as Perspective.

But lucky us, experience will lead us to mould our outer reiatsu that will cooperate well with our inner reiatsu and at the same time, let others have the good Perspective of you.

In the end, only time and experience, and the exploitation of this two factors, will you find the ultima outer reiatsu that suits yourself.

At that time, you'll probably enjoy life as much as I do.
